Dear Michael,

We've added a lot people to our mailing list over the last weeks; if you're getting this newsletter for the first time, welcome! Give to the Max Day is our most important fundraising day and it's coming up on Thursday, November 15th. Your donation on that day through the GiveMN website enters us into hourly drawings for $1,000, and a daily drawing for an additional $10,000! We'd be honored if you'd mark your calendar today, and consider giving on November 15th.

Thank you very much for your support,
Angie Miller, Executive Director

"It's amazing to be able to help people make changes in their lives - it really makes a difference!" says Karn Juusola (pictured above), volunteer Ally with the Circles at Work program.

Circles at Work is an innovative employment program that helps single moms. In addition to traditional employment services, Circles at Work provides an avenue for single moms to build supportive social connections by 'matching' them with caring volunteer Allies from the community.  "Allies offer something very different than I can" explains Circles at Work Manager Kate Wigren.

The past two months have been extra busy for our community engagement division and community advocate Kaprice Brown. As part of a partnership with the MN Council of Non-Profits, we've increased our dedication to voter commitment with a door knocking campaign.

The two-month campaign mobilized ten volunteers who knocked on 306 doors, registered 27 people to vote and received 60 additional pledges to vote on election day.Our partnership with the MN Council of Non-Profits will provide a reminder call for the pledged participants the day before the election!

Pledge to vote with us on Nov. 6!
