Description Children's Spirituality: A Guided Book Study

 One of the foundational works underlying Godly Play as it is practiced today is Children’s Spirituality: What It Is and Why It Matters by Rebecca Nye. Join this group to read the book together with the guidance of a Godly Play trainer. This is a four-month series with meetings once a month on Monday afternoons at 4:00 pm (ET). The meetings will take place over Zoom on March 8, April 12, May 10 and June 7. Each month participants will read and discuss one or two chapters and consider them in relation to their own settings (church, school, hospital, home, etc.). While this book is of value to Godly Play practitioners at all levels, we particularly recommend these sessions for more experienced mentors seeking to deepen their practice.

Trainer: Emily Griffin

This book study is limited to 15 participants so that attendees have an opportunity to interact more with the trainers.
