This session will be a "deep dive" into a topic facing nonprofit CEOs, as they navigate the world of running a nonprofit.
While managers can certainly lead and leaders can certainly manage, the skills required to be good at either one are separate and distinct.
Leaders influence. Managers direct. While it may not be that black and white, leaders generally do focus on what matters and why as managers focus on how. Both use different forms of influence and direction at different times.

This sessions will include all materials and lunch, as well as a cocktail hour to network. It will be a great opportunity to get off the "hamster wheel" at the office - learn new approaches to old problems, create a network of support and have a little fun in the process.
