Online Prayer Series: Daily Examen
In this session, we will learn about the Daily Examen as taught by St. Ignatius of Loyola. Over 500 years ago, Ignatius introduced this daily method, with six concrete steps, of reviewing one's day as if engaged in a dialogical conversation with God. As a foundational Christian prayer practice, Ignatius recommended that his followers do their daily Examen even if they could do no other prayer during the day. The day will include exposure to both the ancient and contemporary versions of the prayer form, practical tips on how to pray, and an actual experience of the prayer form.
