You've been waiting, we have been preparing, and the day has finally arrived; the 7th Annual Susquehanna Greenway Photo Contest is officially open! We invite you to #ShowusyourSusquehanna! This open and free photo contest seeks to inspire and celebrate the connections that are shared between communities and the Susquehanna River. Cash Prizes will be awarded to the first through third place winners within each category (noted below). Winning images will also be printed, framed, and added to a traveling gallery to be exhibited throughout the Susquehanna region within Pennsylvania.

- When does the contest close?
- The contest closes at 5:00 PM on June 30, 2018. Judging will take place in July 2018 with winners announced by 9/1/2018.
- Is there a cost to entering this contest?
- This contest is FREE to enter and open to all ages and skills sets. Entrants under the age of 18 must submit a signed Parent Permission Form to validate their entry.
- Image Format?
- Photographs must be in digital format. All digital entries should be submitted in the highest resolution possible, and a minimum of 1 megabyte (MB) in size.
- Does my image have to be taken within the Susquehanna Greenway?
- Yes, photos must be taken within the Susquehanna Greenway Corridor. The Greenway Corridor is ~ 500 miles in length and runs along the entire Susquehanna River within PA. See side bar for more information and the map.
- What are the prizes?
- First Place ($150), Second Place ($100), and Third Place ($50) prizes will be awarded in each of the four (4) categories. From the 4 First Place winners, one Grand Prize winner will be selected. The Grand Prize winner will be awarded $50 in addition to their First Place Prize.
- The winning photos will be printed, framed, and featured in a year-long traveling exhibit throughout the Susquehanna Greenway.
- Winning images will be featured in a 2019 Photo Calendar. All winners will receive a 2019 Calendar.
- Will I retain the copyrights to my photos?
- Yes, entrants will retain all copyrights to their photographs. Please read the Contest Rules for more information.

Where does the Greenway run?

Photos must be taken within the Susquehanna Greenway Corridor. The Susquehanna Greenway is a ~500-mile corridor that parallels the Susquehanna River and its West Branch within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Greenway extends 1- 5 miles on either side of the Susquehanna River. Sections of the Susquehanna Greenway may extend a greater distance depending on topography and line of sight. 2018 Sojourn Date Announced
Mark your calendars for August 4th
SGP is partnering with the Susquehanna River Trail Association (SRTA) to bring you a fun filled day of paddling along the Middle Susquehanna River Trail. This year's paddle will be launching from the Isle of Que in Selinsgrove, PA. It is sure to be a day to remember, so MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Kayak rentals will again be available. Media and Communications Intern
SGP seeks an energetic and creative team player to join our Communications and Outreach Team. The intern will work closely with the Assistant Director, assisting her with online and editorial content management, social media, and community outreach to raise awareness and inspire action for regional Susquehanna Greenway initiatives and events.
