SUMMARY:Women at the Well - Radical Love: Exploring the Missing & Mystical Wisdom of Mary Magdalene (Online)
CATEGORIES:event
DESCRIPTION:Women at the Well - Radical Love: Exploring the Missing & Mystical Wisdom of Mary Magdalene Lost for more than 1500 years, The Gospel of Mary is the only gospel written in the name of a woman, and it reveals a radical love different from the understanding of Christianity that many know. We will explore the mystery, misunderstandings, and mysticism of Mary Magdalene to discover essential spiritual wisdom that can transform us and our world. Our weekly themes will include a fresh look at the mystery of Mary Magdalene, claiming our authentic power, recognizing the inherent goodness within every person, listening to our inner wisdom, seeing a new vision in the darkness, and living with a radical, transformative love for others and ourselves. We’ll draw from the contemporary writings of Meggan Watterson, Cynthia Bourgeault, and Karen King. Women at the Well is a spiritual companioning program open to all women seeking space to listen for, become more aware of, and respond to the Divine in their daily lives. This small group program includes time for reflection and sacred conversation in the community of other women on the journey. Two sessions of this program will be offered - one In-Person at the Well and one Online. This registration is for the Online session. DATE: Wednesdays, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, and 2/19/25 TIME: 10:00 - 11:30 AM COST: $130 LOCATION: Zoom IMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. CANCELLATION POLICY: We recognize that sometimes plans change and you may not be able to attend a program for which you are registered. On rare occasions, the Well may also need to cancel or reschedule a program. Both situations are disappointing, but we are prepared with the following options. If a program is cancelled by Well for the Journey, or rescheduled and you cannot make the new date, a full refund will be provided to you. For programs with pre-scheduled Inclement Weather Dates, refunds will be provided only if both the original scheduled date and the planned Weather Date are cancelled. If you are unable to attend a program for which you are registered, you may gift your ticket to another party. Please notify the Well with your request at kristan@wellforthejourney.org and provide the name, mailing address, and email address of the person who is taking your place at the program. If you cancel your registration 72 hours or more prior to the program start time, you may request a refund up to 50% of the program fee or request that your 50% refund be donated to the Well’s Scholarship Fund. Please contact the Well with your request at kristan@wellforthejourney.org . Refunds are not available for cancellations when notification is received by the Well in less than 72 hours prior to the start of the program so that sufficient funds are available to cover the Well’s administrative expenses. We sincerely appreciate your consideration of the time and effort that the Well and your Facilitator put forth in bringing your program to life and thank you for your understanding of our Cancellation Policy.
