SUMMARY:“Finding Peace Here and Now: How Ignatian Spirituality Leads Us to Healing and Wholeness” - A Book Study with Author, Eric A. Clayton
CATEGORIES:event
DESCRIPTION:“Finding Peace Here and Now: How Ignatian Spirituality Leads Us to Healing and Wholeness” - A Book Study with Author, Eric A. Clayton These days, peace can feel elusive. Stress in our work, strain in our relationships, headlines that breed fear and anxiety-how can we even hope for peace in our days? The first step is to gather as a community to pray, reflect, share and dream. We invite you to a book study to do exactly that. Facilitated by award-winning author, Eric A. Clayton, we’ll examine Clayton’s latest book, Finding Peace Here and Now: How Ignatian Spirituality Leads Us to Healing and Hope. Together, we’ll mine the richness of the Ignatian tradition-a spiritual path that invites us to find God in all things and all people-and we’ll use guided meditations and exercises from Clayton’s book to help us find the seeds of peace buried within ourselves and each other. Join us for a relaxing summer evening of wine, cheese, and community. It is not necessary to have read the book in advance. Come prepared to simply reflect and share. Register early! The first ten registrants will receive a FREE copy of the book, hand-delivered by Eric during the program. DATE: Sunday, July 20, 2025 TIME: 6:30 - 8:30 PM COST: $40 LOCATION: Well for the Journey - 120 W. CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: We recognize that mistakes happen or that sometimes plans change and you may not be able to attend a program for which you are registered. On rare occasions, the Well may also need to cancel or reschedule a program. Both situations are disappointing, but we are prepared with the following options. Before finalizing your registration/donation, please confirm your details. As a non-profit organization, Well for the Journey is not able to reimburse for credit card processing fees incurred from duplicate registrations and/or incorrect donation amounts. If a program is cancelled by Well for the Journey, or rescheduled and you cannot make the new date, a full refund will be provided to you. For programs with pre-scheduled Inclement Weather Dates, refunds will be provided only if both the original scheduled date and the planned Weather Date are cancelled. If you are unable to attend a program for which you are registered, you may gift your ticket to another party. Please notify the Well with your request at kristan@wellforthejourney.org and provide the name, mailing address, and email address of the person who is taking your place at the program. If you cancel your registration 72 hours or more prior to the program start time, you may request a refund up to 50% of the program fee or request that your 50% refund be donated to the Well’s Scholarship Fund. Please contact the Well with your request at kristan@wellforthejourney.org . Refunds are not available for cancellations when notification is received by the Well in less than 72 hours prior to the start of the program so that sufficient funds are available to cover the Well’s administrative expenses. We sincerely appreciate your consideration of the time and effort that the Well and your Facilitator put forth in bringing your program to life and thank you for your understanding of our Cancellation Policy.
