Payment Options

Description A limited number of "Leases" are available for purchase from December 8, 2020 through January 29, 2021.

Tap into history and welcome spring with Stage Nature Center's popular annual Rent-a-Maple event! Help support our sugar bush by "leasing" a maple tree. Your name will hang on a tree during the syrup season to acknowledge your generous support. Holiday gift leases must be purchased by December 16, 2020.

This year, due to safety and health concerns related to the coronavirus, a limited # of trees will be available for participants to tap themselves or to be tapped by staff members. You have the choice of "leasing" a maple tree that will be tapped by your group of up to 5 participants (at $50 per tree), a maple tree that will be tapped by staff members (at $40 per tree), or a maple tree that will not be tapped (at $35 per tree). All tree leases include a Rent-a-Maple package that will contain the following:

~ Name tag on tree from February 27/28 through March 31
~ A pint of pure maple syrup
~ A spile for tree tapping at home
~ Maple sugar candy
~ Certificate of appreciation
~ Other special surprises

Rent-a-Maple packages will be available for pick-up at the SNC starting on February 27, 2021. Groups that are tapping their own trees will be scheduled to tap on either February 27 or February 28, 2021.

Registration Instructions: 1) Please begin by choosing the category and quantity of R-A-M leases you wish to purchase and clicking the Order and Register tab shown above.

2) After submitting your payment information, please be sure to fill out a registration form online. The form can be downloaded from our website at:

3) After registration is complete, a staff member will contact you with details and to schedule a time for your group on either February 27th or February 28th, 2021 to tap your tree with a staff member if you have purchased a participant-tapped maple tree "lease" for $50.

Holiday gift leases must be purchased by December 16, 2020 to guarantee certificate delivery.

Deadline to purchase leases: January 29, 2021.
