Description In this session, you will begin to think of your fundraising plan as an integrated communication calendar and strategic plan. This living document includes key fundraising objectives and detailed plans to execute your objectives and reach your goals. This session will provide solutions to your current fundraising needs by addressing the:

- Anatomy of a nonprofit fundraising plan
- Questions to consider before writing your annual fundraising plan
- Tactics to use in your fundraising plan
- Organizational structure to set yourself up for success
- Team who needs to be a part of your plan

In-Person attendees will be provided lunch.

Your Trainer: Burton Crenshaw, President
Central Alabama Community Foundation

Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, Burton is a graduate of Hollins University with a degree in Computational Science. She began her career with Compass Bank in 1990 as a Private Banker and in 1993, Burton helped to start the Trust Department for SouthTrust Bank's Montgomery office. After spending several years at home with her children, she became the Development Director for the Central Alabama Community Foundation in 2008. After three years with the Foundation, Burton was promoted to President. She is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Montgomery and a 2017 graduate of Leadership Alabama. Burton currently serves on the Advisory Boards for Auburn University’s Masters of Public Administration and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Organizations & Community Governance, as well as an adjunct Professor for Auburn University.

Burton's role is to represent the Foundation in both donor relations and nonprofit grant making. The Foundation currently covers ten counties in Alabama, with an asset size of $88 million. CACF grants out to other nonprofits an average of $5 million each year.
