Description In this training, learn to shape your nonprofit outreach with media "appeal" and think intentionally about sharing stories and ideas that are compelling, current, and relevant - as opposed to rehashed announcements that nonprofits typically roll out year after year. Learn to target specific audiences rather than trying to reach everyone with a watered-down message. You will leave understanding,

• the critical components of telling compelling stories
• how to tie your nonprofit’s work to current events and trends - without looking cheesy
• how to partner with social media influencers - without spending any money
• how to build relationships with media outlets
• how to measure and adjust your outreach

This training will be held at Burritt on the Mountain from 9:00-12:00 on August 17, 2023.

Your trainer, Jacqueline Gray Miller, is a professionally trained journalist. She combines journalism, marketing, public relations, and strategic planning to help organizations strengthen their brand and achieve their goals. As the founder of A JFG Production LLC, she has experience working with various clients across different industries.
