Description Standards for Excellence: Mission & Impact

In this session, we will discuss your organization's mission, review how to plan strategically, define organizational and program evaluation, and learn about strategic partnerships. Participants are asked to bring their own mission statement and a list of their programs. Participants will receive three educational resource packets as part of the training session, and they will complete the first section of the Standards for Excellence organizational assessment and planning tool.

This training session will be led by Danielle Dunbar, Executive Director of the Alabama Association of Nonprofits.

Level: 101 and open to all

This training will be offered in *Huntsville and on Zoom.

You may register for the hybrid training on 10/22 or for a link to the recorded training with materials. Registration for the live version ends on 10/20/21, and registration for the recorded session ends on 12/31/22.

A cap of 25 in person and 20 online attendees on 10/21/21.
Registration cap for recorded session is unlimited.

All registrants will be emailed a homework reminder, resource packets, and an invitation to the Zoom meeting (for online participants) the day before the training.

*If the spread of COVID has not been reduced later this fall, hybrid events will be moved to an online-only format. A decision will be made 30 days prior to the event by AANs Executive Committee.
