How We Keep Our Republic: Volunteer!

Here is what the Hanover Republicans Committee is doing to help us win in November. If you wish to help us out, please click the Register button to bring up our registration form, and one of our members will contact you.


1) Registering New Voters

• Hanover Republicans will hold multiple voter registration events from now through October 13, 2020 (the Virginia deadline for voter registration).
• Voter Registration Booth – Green Top Sporting Goods and possibly several other venues in Hanover County.
• 2nd Amendment voter outreach. We have the list of every gunowner in Hanover County. Only half of them are registered to vote. We will contact each of these people to register to vote this November.

2) Get Out the Vote

• Door Knocking - Walking streets to register people to vote and to push out our vote this November.
• Christian/Church Outreach - We will distribute non-partisan voter guides to all Hanover County churches to place in their bulletins.

3) Election Day

• Election Day (Outside Precinct Operations) – We need many volunteers to man the 36 Hanover County precincts. If you would like to get involved, please call your magisterial district chairman or the vice chairman of precinct operations.
• Election Day Poll Watchers (Inside Precinct Operations) – Help us maintain voter integrity inside the polls. Training will be provided.
• Officers of Election - You can go to www.Hanovercounty.gov to apply. You can also call the Hanover County Registrar’s Office and talk to Sheila Frattini at (804)365-6080.
