Art Fest 2024

Description The James Memorial Art Center would like to invite you to showcase your arts and crafts at ART FEST on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10 AM-4 PM in Recreation Park in Williston. The purpose of this event is to celebrate all artists and to raise money for the preservation and operation of the James. While Art Fest is the James’ largest fundraiser of the year, it truly meets our mission by promoting the arts and enhancing our community through interactive experiences and supporting local artisans. Art fest will also feature live entertainment, art activities, a featured artist, and a live art auction.

EVENT TIME AND SETUP: Art Fest will run from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Set up will take place between 8-10 AM. Please check in at registration for your space assignment. Details for parking and unloading your supplies will be provided closer to the event.

If you need electricity, please indicate on the registration form. Electricity cannot be guaranteed, but we will work with you as much as we can to accommodate.

SELLING YOUR WORK/FOOD: Artists and Food Vendors are responsible for managing own sales and retain 100% of sales made.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: This is a rain or shine event and the James is not responsible for items damaged due to weather. If a rain plan is needed, it will be decided on the morning of the event. Rain plan will be held in the James Memorial Art Center.

LIVE ART AUCTION: The James is also looking for artists and artisans willing to donate their work to be included in our live auction at 1 PM during the event as a fundraiser for our organization. We are also interested in artists willing to do a quick draw, where you paint or draw a piece during the event to be auctioned off.
