Description ‘Opening Wide our Hearts: Walking Humbling with God:’ is Theme of 2021 Social Justice Virtual Conference
Hartford, Conn. - The Office for Catholic Social Justice Ministry of the Archdiocese of Hartford twelfth annual Social Justice Conference will take place on Saturday June 5, 10:00 AM in a virtual format.
The conference concludes the Office’s year-long Open Wide our Hearts webinar series in response to the US Bishops’ Pastoral Letter against Racism. It will include a keynote address by New Orleans Auxiliary Bishop Fernand Cheri, prayer, and workshop options. This half-day conference will provide a broadened understanding of racism as a life issue and our role and responsibility in developing and nurturing anti-racist attitudes to address the sin of racism.
