Join us for an early afternoon of ligh refreshments and informative talks about a variety of topics, specifically designed with seniors in mind! Our staff of experts will answer your questions, show you live animals, and expose you to the many plants and animals both in our building and in the gardens outside. We'll cover a rotating cast of topics, with each presentation being a new and unique way for seniors to discover and engage with the natural world - right in their own community.

Bats of Michigan: Nov 18
When they aren't inspiring super crime fighters or Transylvanian blood suckers, bats are quietly one of our more fascinating and unique Michigan animals. Come learn about these much-maligned creatures as we dispel myths and learn about their complex lives and voracious appetites. We're certain you'll leave with a greater appreciation for nature's only flying mammal!
