Discovering the Spiritual Wisdom of Trees: Connection & Collaboration - A Day Retreat at the Well

Leah Rampy, Earth & Soul: Reconnecting amid Climate Chaos We live in uncertain times when ecosystems are increasingly at risk. Our souls hunger for sacred relationship with all creation, yet it can be difficult to discern the way forward when relationships to human and nonhuman kin seem fraught. Guidance is close at hand that can point the way to healing and wholeness for our days and the times beyond. Join sought after retreat leader and wisdom teacher, Leah Rampy, for this day-long retreat at the Well where we’ll look to the ancient spiritual and ecological wisdom that trees have to offer. These elders who have graced Earth far longer than the human family demonstrate living in community and collaborating for mutual benefit. They invite us to open more fully to the awe and wonder of this world, allowing our awareness of sacred oneness to deepen. Through brief teachings, ongoing conversation and reflection, small group discussion, and spacious contemplative practices, we’ll open our hearts to the wonder and resilience of the tree teachers all around us. You will leave with practices that you may choose to continue to further deepen connections with and learn from the spiritual wisdom of trees in your community. Please bring a bag lunch. Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be provided.

FACILITATOR: Leah Rampy
FACILITATOR BIO: Leah Rampy is a retreat leader, writer, and speaker who weaves ecology, spirituality, stories, and practices to invite others to deepen connections to the living world. She is the author of the award-winning book, Earth and Soul: Reconnecting amid Climate Chaos, published by Bold Story Press in 2024. She teaches classes and leads spiritual retreats for Shalem Institute, Friends of Silence, Dayspring Silent Retreat, and other centers. Leah collaborates with the Center for Spirituality in Nature to offer a class on the Spiritual Wisdom of Trees and has co-authored with Beth Norcross Discovering the Spiritual Wisdom of Trees, to be published in April 2025 by Broadleaf Books. Leah is the founder and leader of Church of the Wild Two Rivers.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:
Before finalizing your registration/donation, please confirm your details. As a non-profit organization, Well for the Journey is not able to reimburse for credit card processing fees incurred from duplicate registrations.
If a program is cancelled by Well for the Journey, or rescheduled and you cannot make the new date, a full refund will be provided to you. For programs with pre-scheduled Inclement Weather Dates, refunds will be provided only if both the original scheduled date and the planned Weather Date are cancelled.
If you are unable to attend a program for which you are registered, you may gift your ticket to another party. Please notify the Well with your request at kristan@wellforthejourney.org and provide the name, mailing address, and email address of the person who is taking your place at the program.
If you cancel your registration 72 hours or more prior to the program start time, you may request a refund up to 50% of the program fee or request that your 50% refund be donated to the Well’s Scholarship Fund. Please contact the Well with your request at kristan@wellforthejourney.org .
