Writing to Heal our Younger Selves
Local author Lindsey Pope—writer of four children’s books, speaker, workshop leader, and busy mom—brings her passion for love, laughter, and healing to this creative writing program. In this workshop, Lindsey will guide us on a journey to begin writing our own children’s book. We will explore the components of a children’s book and learn how to outline the story. Practical tools and reflective writing prompts will support the process, and throughout the session, Lindsey will share how writing for children can be a profoundly therapeutic way to help heal your younger self. Write the book you needed to read when you were young! Please join us in a safe, creative space where the only requirements are an open heart and an open mind.
