Description Renegade Joy: Lifting the Spirit by Reading and Writing Poetry

Need a pick me up? An infusion of beauty? A reminder of what’s going right? Every moment-even mid-pandemic-contains an invitation to lean into the world as it is and find joy. Join poet, performer and teacher Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer for a playful, provocative exploration of how to find poetry in everything-from spatulas to depression to cleaning the kitchen-and then write about it. This invitation is for you. Even if you’ve never written a poem before. Especially if you wondered what you might have to say if you allow yourself to show up. This isn’t your textbook poetry-it’s the poetry of your life. This group is limited to 12 participants. Registration closes on 1/17/21 at 1 PM.
